Hello! I'm Coach Marni.
I started running on my high school track team and immediately fell in love with the sport. In 2013 I moved to NYC, where I made the leap from track and cross-country to road racing (though the mile will always have a special place in my heart). Since then I've competed in all distances from the 400m to half-marathon and am currently training to chase down a BQ marathon time. I coach at Mile High Run Club, am a co-head coach for Team Every Mother Counts and proudly race in gold for Queens Distance Runners. I'm also a huge fan of strength training and cross-training for runners, and have competed in powerlifting and triathlons as well.
Running is one of the most accessible sports regardless of your age or experience. It can be tough, but it's also usually a lot of fun (if it's not, we need to chat). Whether you're looking to be healthier, crush your first race, run a new PR, qualify for Boston or simply try something new, I want to help you get there!
